I can't believe it's been six years already! I'm certain every parent says that when a child celebrates a birthday. But it really is amazing how fast the time races by in the early years of a child's life.
Charlie has been such a joy to Tim and I! He was our tanker of a boy child in his first years and now has grown into a solid, skinny muscle with long hair that drives his mother crazy. He LOVES anything Star Wars, LEGOS, or Seahawks even though we are far from sports people. We try.
He hates to wear socks to bed and has adopted the big boy sleeping habits of sleep pants or shorts with no shirt. And even though he likes to be a big kid, he still enjoys his snuggles with his tattered, frayed, discolored blanket that has been around from the beginning.
This year we had a low-key celebration at home with family and neighborhood friends. Charlie has been very concerned about when his birthday was going to happen, so this day has been on the count down since September! Mommy still worries about his learning abilities, but will press on with new techniques and styles using LEGOS and Star Wars to get this boy child reading and learning!!!
We love you so much Chuckles! Sorry you don't have any brothers, but that's a matter out of my hands. I know you get upset over this but you are the best only brother to your sweet sisters who adore you very much.
