Miss Bee Turns Two

Two years of life on the tenth.
Two years in our home on the twenty second.
Baylee brings such joy, spunk, laughter and attitude into our home. Her personality is huge.
Irish she is; the tempers and hilarious meltdowns are a testament to her genetics.
For the first few months, many asked if they missed my pregnancy. Now they say how much Miss Bee looks like her Daddy. Truth be told, she really could pass for our own homegrown little princess.
Baylee has smarts that are beyond her years and has the uncanny ability to repeat whatever you say to her...whether it be one time or said multiple times, she'll repeat it.
Thanks to her Uncle Ryan; his punishment still remains unclear for teaching her such words; she now blurts out 'buttface' like it's her favorite toy or friend. It's said all the time and usually when in front of strangers or people we'd like to keep the perception that we got it all together. Having older sisters and a brother, this innocent little one has gained many phrases and verbiage we'd love to eliminate.
"Not yours!"
"Go away!"
"Stop it. Go away."
"What doing?"
"Share." (usually states this after she made a bad choice or didn't share herself.)
And the potentially annoying question..."What's dat?" (What's that?)

{ Look a-likes. }

Some is too cute to correct...
"Hi. I'm Baylee." (says to the deer as they pass through our yard)
"Nokey Nokey" (Okey Dokey)
"I'm okay. You okay?"
"I love it!" (says repeatedly usually after eating or playing with a toy)
"I ya' ya' too." (I love you too.)
"See ya' later. Al-gator."
Baylee has recently learned how to sing 'Happy Birthday' to herself which is quite adorable.
This training from older siblings also comes with attention she loves to receive. Baby of the family she definitely is; girl gets her way and held all the time.
Sorry little princess, things will be changing now that you're officially two.

Attempts to get rid of all binkies and bottles is in process while the big girl bed gets set up.
This comes with a few tears from Mommy as we disassemble the crib, give our carseat and infant items to friends and family in need, and allow our foster license to expire as our family is now complete.
Knowing God had His hand in creating our tribe is an honor and blessing as we do our best to raise His kids in our care. Knowing this is my last baby has me holding Baylee a little tighter and getting all the snuggles she asks for because in a blink of an eye she'll be graduating and moving out.
My Mama heart can't handle that right now.
Our little Bee is a Mama's girl and I pray it stays that way for awhile. She spends her days with me as all are at school and work. She calls our home "Mama's castle" and when we get to the corner of third and Grover she knows it's time to see Megan when Mama gets her workout in. Papa and Nana are some favorites, Emma from the Wiggles has been bumped to second as Rocket, better known as Little Einstein's, has taken the lead. Girl eats meat like it's going out of style and fruit snacks could be eaten at every meal and in between. She's finally sleeping through the night; thank you child.
Daddy loves to tickle her chubby cheeks and Addi has some classic dance moves with her younger sister. Charlie still wishes for a brother, but until his dreams come true (they won't) he loves all his sisters and is a great protector of them.
Baylee, today your family celebrates you. We are forever grateful that you chose this family to laugh with you, laugh at you, pray with you, teach and train you and as the days go on create more memories together.
Per request from Mommy, please stay young and always stay my baby girl.
Always let me hold you...and laugh at you when you're on the floor,
rolling around, throwing an Irish temper tantrum.

Let the terrible twos begin.
Happy Birthday Baylee Lynnae!
 { You will forever be two months, chubby cheeked and sized perfectly to fit in my arms. }

 { Personality at it's best. }

 { The bookends; our oldest and youngest. }
